Inundated with Homebase and B&Q installation requests
B&Q and Homebase have jointly cornered the DIY, off the shelf kitchen market. As a result they have had a big slice of the kitchen industry for a very long time. Sadly these two big companies have felt the pinch throughout 2018 and have now stopped offering an installation service. Fortunately they still sell kitchens, but now it’s up to the customer to source their own installer/fitter.
Consequently, this has left a considerable amount of customers with a half finished kitchen. No kitchen or they have left some customers who have bought a kitchen without anyone to carry out the installation.
Unfortunately there have also been many cases where these customers have gone out and hired some unscrupulous people in desperation. In many they have accidentally hired a person who is more used to fitting DIY furniture. As opposed to fitting in a more professional detailed way. Sadly this can lead to a sub-standard installation with a poor finish and an unhappy customer.
It’s at times like this where my team and I can help to find a solution and rectify the situation.
